TRADITIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DOG SHOW FOR ALL BREEDS IN PORVOO 8th

In each breed will be chosen the best junior class dog between the best junior class male and the best junior class female (the qualification "very good" is a prerequisite). The best junior class dogs of all breeds will compete in the Show Finals. The winners of each day will compete of the title The Royal Canin Junior Winner 2011 of the Porvoo Dog Show. The judge on Saturday will be Tanya Ahlman-Stockmari, Finland and on Sunday Peter Machetanz, Germany.

Please note that foreign entrants are required also to enclose a photocopy of the Pedigree Certificate as well as a proof of entitlement for champion and working class.

All the dogs that are participating at the show must be either tattooed or microchipped. Microchip must be in accordance with ISO 11784/11785 Standard. If the dog is microchipped with other than ISO 11784 Standard microchip, the exhibitor has to have a scanner with him/her.

VACCINATION INSTRUCTIONS

The show is subject to the vaccination directions approved by the Finnish Kennel Club. All dogs participating in the Show or trials must have a valid certificate of vaccination against distemper and rabies.
Please, check the custom regulations for importing dogs to Finland. Check also your own country's regulations when turning back.

Distemper vaccinations
The dog must be vaccinated at least twice against distemper and at least 14 days must have expired between the second (booster) vaccine and the Show before dogs may be shown or participate in trials. Vaccinations for dogs under one year old are valid for a year. Booster vaccinations for dogs over one year old are valid for three years and no warning period is required.
If a distemper vaccination has expired it must be renewed 14 days before the Show or trials at the latest (two weeks warning period).

Rabies vaccination
At least 14 days must have expired between the dog's first rabies vaccination before the dog may take part in the Show or competitions.
Rabies vaccinations are valid for one year if given to a dog under one year old. From then on the Rabies vaccinations are valid for two years. However, rabies vaccinations are only valid for one year in the case of dogs taking part in ferreting trials or hunting.If rabies vaccination has expired it must be renewed at least two weeks before showing or competition (two weeks warning period).

Dogs coming from abroad must obey the vaccination instructions by the Finnish Kennel Club as well as Evira´s (Finnish Food Safety Authority) valid import requirements. More instructions: Evira
Please note that vaccination instructions for the show can be stricter than import requirements.

CROPPED AND DOCKED DOGS

The dogs with cropped ears and/or docked tails born after 1.1.2001 are not allowed to participate.

ANTI-DOPING

The Anti-Doping rules approved by the Council of the Finnish Kennel Club have come into force on 1.1.2007. These rules concern all the shows, trials and tests approved by the Finnish Kennel Club. Visit also www.kennelliitto.fi for current information.

Double-handling is not permitted in any form at all. In case of infringement, the dogs concerned may be disqualified.

By signing the entry form the exhibitor guarantees to obey the valid Show Regulations and Vaccination Instructions of the Finnish Kennel Club.
